What this Day Master means

Yi is often compared with vines, grasses or flowers. The image emphasizes responsiveness and finding a path around obstacles. Flexibility does not mean weakness, and it is not a diagnosis of your personality: it is one way to think about the Wood phase.

How to identify it

Look for 乙 at the top of your day pillar. Seeing it in the year, month or hour pillar does not make it your Day Master. Yi belongs to Yin Wood, so its yin-yang quality is part of its name, not a second score to calculate.
